Sometime between 1 p.m. July 14 and 7:30 a.m. July 16, a thief or thieves took a red box trailer from a parking lot in the 1000 block of Reed Avenue in Wyomissing. The caller told police the trailer had landscaping equipment worth several thousand dollars inside.
About a week later, at 4:41 p.m. July 22, Amity Township police found the trailer in the woods near the first block of Riga Lane in Douglassville. It was empty but police recovered three items outside the trailer.
