Car alarm leads police to drunken man

A car alarm went off about 3:35 a.m. June 16 in the 300 block of Spruce Street in West Reading. Police officers nearby saw a man trying – and failing – to turn off the alarm, and concluded he was drunk. They took him to a friend's house and cited him for public drunkenness.
