Guest cons hotel in Wyomissing
Someone used a fake name and another person’s credit card to check in to the Mariott Hotel in mid-July in the 100 block of Park Road North in Wyomissing. The guest stayed for three nights, racking up bar and restaurant bills along the way. The final bill came to $978.72, which the guest never paid. Police reviewed phone records and discovered the guest’s identity. The scammer now faces theft charges.
