Drunken man refuses to leave bar

Wyomissing police went to a bar about 1:36 a.m. Nov. 14 in the 1100 block of Bern Road in the borough after hearing about a drunken man who was fighting with bar staff. The dispute stemmed from the employees telling the man he had to leave because of his unruly behavior. Police officers cited the man for disorderly conduct and let him go home with a sober friend.

Later that evening, about 11:40 p.m., police returned to the parking lot of the bar when another “very intoxicated” patron became belligerent after being asked to leave.  The suspect was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct.
