Criminal record results in arrest on $7 theft
Wyomissing police arrested a man on a charge of retail theft about 1:06 p.m. Nov. 14 from a store in the 1100 block of Berkshire Boulevard in the borough. The suspect, a 21-year-old Pennsylvania resident with an unknown address, had been convicted twice before – once for bringing a weapon onto school property, once for retail theft and simple assault. He was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property and jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.
