West Reading man faces drug charges

A West Reading police officer on patrol about 4:45 p.m. Oct. 16 spotted two people walk behind a maintenance shed in the 400 block of Playground Drive in the borough. When he followed he discovered a man had been smoking marijuana. The suspect, a 19-year-old borough resident, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
