Argument in hospital maternity ward leads to fight
An argument that began between two people about 1:53 a.m. Oct. 14 in the maternity ward at Reading Hospital in West Reading turned physical once the pair reached the foyer of the hospital’s Fifth Avenue lobby. A man punched the other in the face and the two had be separated by hospital security. After police arrived the punch-thrower apologized and said he “shouldn’t have done it.” The victim won’t press charges, but the man was cited for disorderly conduct and barred from the hospital. He left with his family.
