Driver faces drunken-driving charges after stop

A vehicle that had stopped about 2:57 a.m. Oct. 17 in the intersection of Pine and Ann streets in West Reading caught the attention of West Reading police. The officers noticed that the driver of the car, which was running while stopped in the street, had been drinking. She was arrested and taken to the DUI center. The passenger called her parents to have them pick her up.
