Stalking suspect waives preliminary hearing

A woman who police accused of making unwanted visits to her ex-boyfriend's West Reading home waived her preliminary hearing on Aug. 24 and now faces trial. The victim and his current girlfriend told police in July the suspect, a 33-year-old Wyomissing resident who was 32 at the time of her arrest, had been harassing them with dozens of unwanted e-mails. Police warned her to stay away and arrested her outside the victim's home.

She faces charges of loitering and prowling at night, stalking and two counts of harassment.
