Man faces assault charge after fight at convenience store

A man called Wyomissing police about 4:33 p.m. Aug. 21 to report a fight in the parking lot at a Wawa convenience store in the 2000 block of Museum Road in the borough. One of the people involved had a knife, the man said. Police charged one suspect, a 22-year-old Wernersville man, with simple assault. He was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
