Flat tire leads to drunken-driving arrest

At 1:35 a.m. July 14 a white Honda was heading east on the Penn Street Bridge with a flat tire in the front. A West Reading police officer stopped the car and noticed the driver appeared drunk. While searching the suspect the cop also found a syringe. He arrested the driver, who had been wanted on warrants from other counties.
