When caretaker doesn't show, Wyomissing police officer steps in

A 93-year-old woman called 911 about 7:47 p.m on Thanksgiving because she couldn't move. A Wyomissing officer went to the woman's home in the 900 block of Hill Avenue and found out that her caretaker never showed up that day, and she hadn't eaten. EMS workers took her vital signs and contacted the caretaker's supervisor.

In the meantime, the officer prepared some food for the woman.
