Wyomissing officer helps homeless man on highway

A driver called police after spotting a homeless man pushing a shopping cart about 11:58 a.m. Feb. 23 on the Warren Street Bypass in Wyomissing. A patrol officer found the man on the highway and helped him push his cart off the busy thoroughfare at an exit on North Wyomissing Boulevard. The officer then bought the man some food at a nearby convenience store.
