A Sinking Spring boy beat up a 10-year-old about 7:08 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Berkshire Mall, in the 1600 block of State Hill Road in Wyomissing, to the point where the victim suffered a head injury and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Police charged the suspect, a juvenile, with simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment. Court records did not indicate the suspect's age.
