Traffic stop leads to drug charges in Wyomissing

It feels redundant to talk about a drug arrest that took place on 4/20, but here we go:

Wyomissing police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation about 1:11 a.m. April 20 (hee) on Route 422. The passenger gave officers a fake name and they soon found out why: an outstanding warrant from Lebanon County. The driver, meanwhile, had a firearm on him, along with 41 bags of crack and five bags of powder cocaine.

Police arrested the driver and charged the suspect, a 48-year-old Reading man, with drug possession, possession with intent to deliver, driving without rear lights and carrying firearms without a license. He was jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail. Charges against the passenger are pending.
