- About 4 p.m. Saturday, two men were caught with two fake $100 bills at the Toys R Us in the 1000 block of Woodland Road. They were stopped, identified and released, and the bills seized.
- Two days later, at 1:31 p.m. Monday, a counterfeit $5 was discovered at VF Outlet, in the 800 block of Hill Avenue. Police gave the fake bill to the U.S. Secret Service.

Counterfeit bills found in Wyomissing
Twice in the past week, Wyomissing police have learned of people trying to pass counterfeit money in the borough.
