Assault suspect waives preliminary hearing

A 19-year-old Wyomissing man faces a possible jury trial on charges stemming from a fight about 11:31 p.m. Jan. 3 in the first block of Evans Avenue in Wyomissing. The suspect waived his Feb. 3 preliminary hearing on charges of simple assault (two counts), disorderly conduct and harassment. He was released Jan. 24 on $5,000 bail.
