West Reading police arrest BARTA pickpocket suspect
A Reading man was arrested Dec. 17 after West Reading police received a report of a pickpocketing that took place on a BARTA bus in the 300 block of Penn Avenue in the borough. The 24-year-old suspect was charged with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and drug possession. He was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
