Wernersville woman waives hearing on shoplifting charges
A 44-year-old Wernersville woman faces a possible jury trial on a retail theft charge. She is accused of stealing $611.55 worth of jewelry Nov. 16 from a store in the Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing. The woman waived her preliminary hearing Jan. 20. Police said the suspect has a previous conviction. She was released on her own recognizance.
