Man faces charges in shoplifting incident at Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing
A man took $590.11 worth of electronics merchandise about 10:37 a.m. Nov. 30 from Sears in the Berkshire Mall, in the 1600 block of State Hill Road in Wyomissing, and got as far as a gas station a few blocks away before police caught up with him. Police said the man was also suspected of taking more than $300 worth of merchandise from the same store two weeks earlier. The suspect, a 31-year-old Reading man, was arrested and charged with two counts of retail theft and one count of driving with a suspended license.
