Man chases shoplifting suspect, to no avail

A witness saw a man leave a Wyomissing store about 7:54 p.m. July 20 with a 42-inch television and two portable stereos in a shopping cart. When the witness asked the man for a receipt to prove he paid for the items, the man ignored him, loaded his car and drove off. The television was valued at $548 and the stereos had a total value of $79.
