Couple charged in domestic assault

A 20-year-old Wyomissing man and his girlfriend, a 21-year-old Sinking Spring woman, were each charged with simple assault and harassment after Wyomissing police responded to a fight between the two about 11:15 p.m. Aug. 3 in the 900 block of Penn Avenue in the borough. Officers noticed injuries to both people but their stories of how they were hurt didn't match up.
