Would-be heroin buyer arrested in Wyomissing
Wyomissing police spotted a man sitting in a vehicle about 6:45 p.m. July 8 in a parking lot in the 800 block of Hill Avenue. A check of car’s registration turned up an outstanding warrant on the owner. The officer stopped the car as it drove off the lot and arrested the man, who had a suspended license as well as the scofflaw warrant. He told police he came to the area to buy heroin and was waiting for police to leave so he could drive into Reading and purchase drugs.
