Woman charged with shoplifting from Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing
Store security saw a woman swipe some clothes about 7:56 p.m. July 16 at the Sears department store in the Berkshire Mall, in the 1600 block of State Hill Road in Wyomissing. She went into another store in the mall, but left after being confronted. Borough police stopped her after she put the stolen clothes in a parked vehicle. The merchandise was returned to the store and the suspect, a 20-year-old Reading woman, was arrested. She was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property and one count of retail theft and released on 5 percent of $5,000 bail.
