Suspect wanted for retail theft caught shoplifting

About 4:38 p.m. May 31, a man took four video games from a store in the 1100 block of Berkshire Boulevard in Wyomissing, removing the anti-theft devices and hiding the games before he left. Borough police caught up with him and arrested him.

They learned that the suspect, a 36-year-old with no fixed address, was on bail for a retail theft charge and was also wanted for shoplifting, apparently in another incident.

He was charged (again) with two counts of retail theft and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
