Concerned neighbor calls police about party with kids present

A Wyomissing resident called police about 8:30 p.m. June 6 after watching a party break up in the 1100 block of Penn Avenue in the borough. She was worried that small children were getting into vehicles with drunken drivers. When officers arrived they learned the party was a baby shower and there was no alcohol present. The kids were apparently safe.
