Three vehicle break-ins reported in one day in West Reading

Police received two calls of thefts from vehicles within an hour in the morning of May 5: at 7:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Ann Street, and at 7:55 a.m. in the 300 block of Sycamore Road.

Later that day, about 12:15 p.m., a man told police someone had gone through his unlocked car overnight and stolen some loose change while the vehicle was parked in the 100 block of South Second Avenue.
