Pair face drug charges following arrest in Wyomissing
A Wyomissing police officer followed a suspicious vehicle about 9:41 p.m. April 30 as it left a fast-food restaurant’s parking lot and stopped it in the 600 block of Park Road North. The officer spotted drug paraphernalia and the people in the car said they drove from Bloomsburg, Pa., to Reading to buy heroin. In addition to the drug paraphernalia, police found small amounts of heroin and marijuana and $720 in cash. The suspects, a 29-year-old Bloomsburg woman and a 33-year-old Ashland, Pa., man, were both charged with possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. The man was also charged with two counts of drug possession.
