Man faces assault charges after fight in West Reading

West Reading police received a report of a fight about 2:11 a.m. May 15 in the 200 block of South Third Avenue in the borough. One man was arrested following the brawl. Police charged the suspect, a 28-year-old Shoemakersville, Pa., man, with simple assault, making terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment. He was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
