Car gawkers prompt man to call Wyomissing police
The owner of a Chevy Camaro called Wyomissing police about 4:15 p.m. May 9 after seeing three teens and an older man approach his car as it was parked in the Berkshire Mall parking lot, in the 1600 block of State Hill Road in the borough. The man’s wife and infant son were inside the car as the strangers approached. He thought they were trying to break in. After police questioned the group, the teens’ father – the older man – said his sons just wanted to take a look at the new car.
