A 57-year-old West Reading woman who police said has previous convictions for shoplifting was arrested about 9:13 p.m. Nov. 29 after taking merchandise worth $114 from a store in the Berkshire Mall, in the 1600 block of State hill Road. She was charged with retail theft and released on 5 percent of $10,000 bail.
