Car chase ends in Reading Hospital parking garage

A West Reading police officer tried to stop a Toyota Camry for speeding about 10:45 p.m. Dec. 15 in the first block of South Fifth Avenue in West Reading. The driver pulled over, then drove off, three times before entering a Reading Hospital parking garage, where she came close to striking another police car that joined the attempt to stop the speeding Camry. The woman now faces charges of fleeing and eluding, in addition to a possible speeding ticket.
