Traffic stop leads to drug charges for West Reading man

A West Reading police officer found pot and drug paraphernalia during a stop of a Chevrolet Lumina about 2:04 a.m. Oct. 25 in the 500 block of Cherry Street in the borough. The two men in the car had apparently been smoking pot earlier in the evening. Both men were arrested but as of Nov. 2 only one of the men, a 19-year-old West Reading man, was charged. He was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
