Driver strikes parked car while getting pulled over by police

A West Reading police officer stopped a vehicle about 10:15 p.m. Oct. 24 at the intersection of Sunset Road and Linden Lane for a “lighting violation.” As the car pulled over it sideswiped another vehicle that was parked. The driver was then arrested and faces charges of drunken driving. The officer told the owner of the damaged car what happened.
