Flu shots lead to traffic tie-ups, accident

A flu shot clinic held at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 7 at an office at Berkshire Court and Berkshire Boulevard created havoc for people hoping to ward off disease. Several cars were illegally parked as a result of the demand for shots. One car struck one of these vehicles; the driver and a witness said the car that hit the illegally parked vehicle was forced into it by another vehicle that drove away. Wyomissing police issued parking tickets and conducted traffic control until flow in the parking lot was running smoothly again.
