Drug suspect waives preliminary hearing
A West Reading man arrested in September by borough police and Pennsylvania State Police waived his right to a preliminary hearing Nov. 9. West Reading police helped state police serve a search warrant Sept. 18 at a home in the 400 block of Franklin Street when the latter arrested the suspect, a 28-year-old borough resident. He now faces a possible jury trial on two counts of drug possession and one count of possession with intent to deliver.
