Officer finds drugs in car parked at convenience store in Wyomissing
A Wyomissing police officer on patrol spotted a car parked in the corner of a convenience store parking lot about 8:23 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 600 block of Park Road North in the borough. Someone walked up to the car, then walked away as the vehicle drove off. The officer stopped the vehicle for having an expired registration. Both people in the vehicle told different stories about why they were at the store. The officer searched the vehicle and found marijuana seeds in an empty cigar container. The driver was cited and the drugs were destroyed.
