Multiple thefts reported at Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing

• A man who operates a kiosk in the Berkshire Mall called Wyomissing police about 9:41 a.m. Oct. 13 to report that $2,600 worth of cell phones were missing from his stand.

• About 11:56 a.m. Oct. 14 a woman took a purse and jacket and ran from a store in the Berkshire Mall, in the 1600 block of State Hill Road of Wyomissing. Borough police stopped the vehicle she was in and a store security guard identified the suspect. Another woman in the vehicle had open warrants and was arrested as well. The purse and jacket were worth more than $150. The woman now faces retail theft charges.

• A woman was stopped for shoplifting about 4:12 p.m. the same day at a store in the Berkshire Mall. Borough police said she stole more than $300 worth of merchandise.
