College students’ beer buy in Wyomissing goes awry
Three Penn State students tried to buy beer about 8:54 p.m. Oct. 22 from a beer distributor in the 1100 block of Woodland Road in Wyomissing. A borough police officer stopped them and found only one of the three was old enough to buy the two cases of beer. But the mature member of the group had a suspended license for a previous drunken-driving charge, so the beer was returned to the store and the students were sent on their way.
