Patient faces assault charges after emergency-room fracas at Reading Hospital
West Reading police received a call about 4:51 a.m. Aug. 29 about an unruly patient in the emergency room at Reading Hospital, at South Sixth Avenue and Spruce Street. Hospital security guards were trying to secure a patient who struck one of the guards. The patient now faces assault charges.
