Driver fiddles with GPS, attracts police attention
West Reading police received a call about a reckless driver about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 7 traveling east on Route 422 past the Penn Avenue exit. The man had apparently been swerving all over the road and passed a patrol car before being stopped. When the officer asked the man why he was driving that way, the man said he was trying to program his GPS device. The officer told him not to do so while driving the car at the same time.
