Young fire starters stopped at Wyomissing park
A Wyomissing police officer stopped three teenage boys who were burning small pieces of plastic about 2:32 p.m. Oct. 3 at Happy Hollow Playground, in the 1100 block of Wayne Avenue in the borough. The officer also confiscated two lighters and a pack of cigarettes from the teens. Two of the boys were from West Reading, the third from Shoemakersville, Pa. All their parents were notified of the boys’ burning ways.
