Wrong-way driver stopped for drunken driving

A car was traveling south about 2:37 a.m. Oct. 3 on South Eighth Avenue in Wyomissing, a street that only allows one-way northbound traffic. A Wyomissing police officer stopped the car and found that the driver had been drinking. The driver failed field sobriety tests and was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
