Woman tries to steal decoration from fast-food restaurant in Wyomissing

A woman took a tin star from the wall of a fast-food restaurant about 11:27 a.m. March 13 in the 800 block of Hill Avenue in Wyomissing. She tried to leave with the wall decoration, but a manager followed her outside and confronted the thief. The woman returned the tin star, worth about $30, and left. By the time police arrived, she was nowhere to be found.
