Snow falls in West Reading, briefly

On Feb. 7 I played nine holes of golf. On Feb. 8, it snowed. Today, Feb. 9, the temperature is expected to rise into the mid-40s.

Winter hasn't shown its harsh, brutal side quite yet, but last night we had a glimpse of its beauty. (Not on streets or sidewalks, though -- the flakes that fell didn't survive paved surfaces.) So, before it melts away, here's a shot of what it looked like when we first got snow in Februrary:
