Man calls police for help getting into apartment

A man tried to get into an apartment where his mother lives about 2:05 a.m. Feb. 9 in the 400 block of Penn Avenue in West Reading, but he had no keys. So, he called the police for help. He said his mother didn't give him keys to the place. When asked for proof he actually lived there, the man had nothing. Officers told him he'd have to call his mother and ask her permission to let him in.
