Someone called police about 4:34 p.m. Nov. 19 after their wallet was stolen from a business in the 600 block of Penn Avenue in West Reading. Hours earlier, borough police received a call about a suspicious man who resembled a wanted theft suspect at another business in the same block but the suspect was gone before officers arrived.
