A man tried to rob someone about 6:25 p.m. Aug. 6 in the parking lot of the Berkshire Mall, in the 1600 block of State Hill Road in Wyomissing. The victim was injured but was able to fight off the attacker and help police identify his getaway vehicle.
On Aug. 8, Wyomissing police arrested the suspect, a 26-year-old Mohrsville man and charged him with attempted robbery. He was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail.
