Thief takes GPS from parked vehicle

A man smashed the window of a vehicle parked about 1:13 p.m. June 7 in the lot of the Berkshire Mall, in the 1600 block of State Hill Road in Wyomissing. He then took a GPS device from the front dashboard. A witness saw the crime and told a nearby security guard. Wyomissing police said Berks County Radio "reportedly placed security on hold three times before taking his call to dispatch."
