Drunken-driving suspect arrested in Wyomissing
A driver ignored a red light about 2:21 a.m. June 18 at the intersection of Spring Street and State Hill Road in Wyomissing. Police stopped the vehicle and gave the driver several field sobriety tests, all of which he failed. A breath test showed a blood-alcohol content of 0.15, nearly twice the legal threshold for drunken driving in Pennsylvania. He was arrested and taken to the DUI center. Police charged the suspect, a 30-year-old Blandon man, with drunken driving and a traffic violation.
